Proverbs 30 says “A heart at peace gives life to the body, but envy rots the bones.” I decided today IS a perfect day to give glory to God and show off his healing powers. The Lord, in one year, has healed me. I was on 26 different meds daily. I WAS in heart failure, kidney failure, had seven level spinal fusions, severe PTSD, insomnia, numbing agent seeker, thrill seeker, people pleaser, selfish, resentful, jealous, and heart filled with anger and hate. Since asking Jesus to help me in my life’s challenges, choices, failures and successes, he has healed me. He has taken away all my thirsts. My heart is healthy and strong, kidneys functioning optimally, all the medications and migraines are gone, sleep apnea is gone, I’m also feeling love and joy daily. With time, effort, energy, and Jesus anything is possible.

One year ago, the Holy Spirit entered my body and has been healing my heart, mind, and body exactly the way God told my wife Erica Sawyer. The evidence is the evidence. My truth is my truth and my story is my story. We can all choose to live in the victim society or we can choose to sit, stand, walk for the lord and be part of something so much bigger than ourselves. Becoming a Christ-like man required me to change everything and in the words of Micheal Beckwith “When everything changes change everything.” With that being said, change is the essential part of spiritual growth. Personally, I had to choose to make the changes required to move into a state of being of humility, honor, loyalty and trust. These four life changing characteristics, when effectively applied and practiced daily, start forming the foundation of what truly matters in this short life we all live. What truly matters when the dust settles in this short life is love. Love God, love your self, love your wife Jesus says. He also says to, “love your wife like Jesus loved the church”. And, Jesus laid his life down for his church.
